I love old, military style jackets. They are now coming back in the wave of trends so it's all good for me. I am not sure what it is about it (it's not like I'm in to cargo pants and camo or anything) but it just looks so unique and classic.
I love this look because it's casual, yet still has the JCREW preppy look that I love. With the big plaid button up shirt and partly ripped jeans. I love it!!!!!
I love the looks of layering scarves and graphic tees underneath. This is one of my favorite tee shirts, called "Dream" with the definition of it one the front of it. It's so fun and you can include many pops of color with the scarves.
I love this polka dot sweater. With it's soft fabric tie, it is just a keeper in my book. Also the tee shirt underneath perfectly matched with it's vertical ribbons sewn down the front of it. I absolutely loved this outfit!!!!
When I wore this outfit for the Junior Honor Society induction ceremony in 8th grade, people told me I had a very "Gossip Girl" look. With the khaki skirt, repp tie belt and button up shirt, it was indeed very Blair-ish.
Recently while doing a project for Social Studies, I did research on the 1920's and felt inspired by their fashion. From the flapper dresses and shorter haircuts, to the Chanel style hats. After learning about it, I realized you could incorporate that style now. Personally I really like the style, and think it is fun to wear. It adds a hushed hint towards an older time, giving it a tad of elegance.
I am from the midwest, going to school at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I love BYU, lacrosse, small, baby animals such as baby ducks or squished faced dogs, (ie. boston terriers, bulldogs, etc) s'mores, and writing. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormon) and love the gospel. I love people and having fun. Smiling is my favorite. Why have a bad day when you can have a good day?
